“AUXILIARY UNIT”
PLATE 6 / G01-PLT-006

ORIGIN
Synthetic composite generated through diffusion-based imaging, mechanical modeling, and post-photographic hybridization.

DOMAIN
Body–machine interface. Prosthesis as dependency rather than enhancement. The body persists only through auxiliary support.

DESCRIPTION
The plate presents a rear-facing figure encased in rigid surfaces and exposed wiring. The spine is replaced by a lattice of cables and connectors, suggesting an infrastructural substitute for organic support. Limbs read as modular panels rather than flesh. The head remains sealed and reflective, devoid of expression. No augmentation appears seamless; every intervention is visible, provisional, and strained. The work frames technology not as transcendence of the body but as evidence of its insufficiency. Identity survives only through external systems that mirror the same fragility they attempt to correct.
