PLATE 7 / G01-PLT-007
Synthetic composite generated through diffusion-based imaging, material deformation, and post-photographic enclosure simulation.
DOMAIN
Encasement and insulation. Flesh treated as membrane. The body attempts to stabilize itself through containment.
DESCRIPTION
The image presents a figure enveloped in a translucent, latex sheath. Form is visible but softened, pressed inward by its own covering. Limbs distort beneath the surface, suggesting both protection and restraint. The surrounding space recedes into darkness and blur, reinforcing isolation. No emergence is implied; the cocoon does not promise metamorphosis. Instead, it functions as a suspended state—identity paused, compressed, and held in tension. The work frames enclosure as a stalled solution: an attempt to survive instability by narrowing contact rather than resolving the underlying error.
