A LIVE STUDY ON UNMASKING FORM

AUTOSOMA (from auto—self, and soma—body) names the condition in which selfhood (flesh) finds its sense of identity in and through machine. It explores the state of a life that is host for This suite of 12 artworks (plates) examine the progressive state working in tandem with machine, a proesthetic hand. The works operate at the intersection of anatomy and hallucination, collapsing bone, musculature, fluids, and synthetic surface into a single decaying system.
