“CONSUMPTION”
(2025)

ORIGIN
Synthetic composite generated through diffusion-based imaging and post-photographic manipulation. Skin, pigment, residue, and synthetic surfaces are reorganized using GAN-based machine learning to produce a single transitional form.

DESCRIPTION
The sequence opens at the mouth—where intake, expression, and exposure converge. Teeth are revealed not as tools of nourishment but as fixed units, reflective and inert. The face strains between grin and grimace, collapsing pleasure and threat into a single gesture. Nothing is being consumed, yet the posture of consumption persists. The body turns inward, rehearsing appetite without relief. The figure suggests a system that feeds not to sustain itself, but to stabilize an imagined permanence.
